Visa to Iceland

Iceland processes Schengen short-stay visa applications at the embassies of Iceland in China, India, Tokyo, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Please make sure to apply for a visa in a timely manner. You can lodge your application up to 6 months in advance before the intended day of arrival to the Schengen area, and no later than 15 calendar days before the intended day of arrival. The online application.

Iceland has outsourced part of the visa application process to an external service provider called VFS Global. Please see how, where and when you can apply on their website.

The visa fee is 90 EUR per application. Please note that the visa fee is non-refundable except in cases referred to in article 18(4) and article 19(3) of the Visa Code.
